FOOD Bars
A nutritious meal in their pocket. Vulnerable communities have the right to accessible, nutritious FOOD, and together we can make that possible by pre-positioning ready-to-eat FOOD bars for people in need. Made with dates, oats, nuts, and spirulina, these FOOD bars have been enjoyed globally, providing vital nutrients to children and families. They're ideal for communities with no cooking or cooling facilities and limited access to fresh water. People can eat them as soon as they arrive and feel full for up to four hours. In school feeding programmes, the bars provide sustained energy for children's learning, fuelling futures. In Kenya, the kids simply call the FOOD 'tamu sana', very sweet and delicious.

Building for the Future: E2G's Spirulina Farm
Zimbabwe's first spirulina farm was made possible thanks to The Cares Organization and funding from the National Christian Foundation. Spirulina, a plant protein, can grow in climate-stressed land, be cultivated in just four to five days, and be consumed by the community or resold into it. Operational since 2025, the farm has done more than provide nutrients, it's educated the next generation of farmers, in partnership with the local Gwebi Agriculture College and trained local community members to operate the it. This is just the beginning of a more localised approach to feeding. We know we can't provide FOOD forever, so we're building towards teaching local communities how to sustain themselves with protein-rich foods added to their everyday diets.
