Our CEO and former news cameraman, Pete Henderson, witnessed firsthand the limits of emergency food aid. Meals that need cooking or clean water, spike blood sugar instead of sustaining it, or simply don't reach the community that needs them most. Then when he was home, he realised that everything could be tracked and traced, even blood donations - so why couldn't aid?
That gap led him to build a team of nutrition, supply chain, technology, and strategy experts around one goal: food that's scalable, nutritious, transparent, and locally made.
We are lucky enough to have some incredible advisors around the globe, such as Mary Pittman, former President and CEO of the Public Health Institute; Fayaz King, former UNICEF Executive Director; Kevin Fleischer our CFO and CEO of Zemail International. Alongise our 10 advisors we work with +50 ambassadors globally to make local connections to support feeding programmes in the region.
